Stress and life/work balance issues can have a big impact on an employee’s performance. It makes business sense to offer staff wellbeing services to help prevent future problems occurring and assist those members of staff who are currently struggling. From one-to-one executive coaching sessions through to team building wellness activities.

Wellbeing services are also a great activity for away days. Most team building exercises involve competition and risk taking and are not always appreciated by all members of staff, some of whom might find them daunting or inaccessible due to age, health, mobility or mental health issues.

The great thing about wellbeing activities is that they are accessible to just about everyone. In addition, you are giving your staff something that can positively impact their health and performance, learning techniques they can develop on their own later on.

Popular options include:

Forest Bathing (no water involved!) Sessions

Great for a different sort of team activity. You can add other activities such as painting, yoga, cooking, sound-bathing or several other health-related activities or combine it with a meal in a country pub.

Learning to Breathe Properly

This is ideal for anyone, but especially those in stressful positions, who may be holding their breath or rapidly breathing as they talk and coming across to customers and colleagues as stressed or nervous.

Relaxation Sessions

Great for mental and physical health, often in block sessions over several weeks, although one-off sessions can deliver a great result too. These sessions can be tailored to suit individuals and companies… from online sessions to face to face, these sessions can be supplemented with hands-on services such as massage and acupressure from my trusted wellness partners.

Life Coaching for Staff

A benefit that key staff will really appreciate. It is astonishing what an independent life/executive coach can bring to the table to help individuals discover the barriers to their performance or happiness and how to work out a roadmap to success. 

Team Away Days

I can also build and manage themed team away days, wellness workshops or retreats for organisations – for examples see Workshops and Retreats.

“Nigel ran a Breathing and Guided meditation session for our colleagues. We wanted to provide a variety of resources for our colleagues in Mental Health Awareness week and felt an online meditation session would complement the other activities going on throughout the week. Nigel walked us through some really useful information about the importance of breathing properly and then took us through some breath based meditations.
