Healthy Sleep
There are many people who struggle to sleep and yet some 70% of those just accept and never pursue a solution. These workshops Incorporate best practice sleep hygiene, (including optional breathing and meditation exercises) for optimal sleep patterns.
Menopause
Incorporating essential foods and eating habits that can support women through this period of their life. Learn how poor breathing accentuates the challenges and how good breathing practice can support your health. Plus lots more tips and a nature-based forest bathing therapy session. Nigel will run this session in conjunction with one of his Health Coach associates that includes Sally-Sidani-Wilkinson (https://www.rebalancebysally.com)
Plant-based Cooking
Incorporating what plant-based foods are best for specific health and wellbeing challenges and wellbeing maintenance. The renowned Nutritional Therapist and chef Linda North (https://www.thegreennut.co.uk) will demonstrate how to source and produce many delicious and healthy meals. Like all our workshops, we will include advice and tips on healthy breathing patterns and depending on the venue, we will include relaxing and healing time in nature with a forest bathing session.
Painting and Mindfulness in the Forest
Following a mindful and sensory exploration (including breathwork and meditation) in a wonderful location you will be able to draw, paint and take-home a lasting memory of your day. Having got the audience relaxed and open the mind for creativity following the Forest Bathing session, participants would then after a short break proceed to capture nature with renowned artist and teacher Irina Taneva (https://irinataneva.com)
Forest Bathing and Sound Bathing
Following a mindful and sensory exploration (including simple breathwork and meditation) of a wonderful location and after a short break, you will then be able to build another layer of relaxation and healing via a Sound Bath session. A Sound Bath is a unique meditative experience that uses a symphony of sound vibrations to create a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. You will be surrounded by the ethereal tones of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and other therapeutic instruments that harmonize with your body's energy centres, creating a state of profound relaxation and healing. The layering of a Sound Bath on top of the Forest Bathing will further reduce stress, daily worries and anxieties as the soothing sounds wash over you, promoting deep relaxation. Nigel will run this retreat in conjunction with Gill and Mark Turner (https://www.theenergywheel.co.uk), two experienced and respected Sound Therapists.
Mindful Exploration and Yoga in Nature
After mindfully exploring (including some breathwork and meditation) nature via forest bathing session at one of our fabulous locations we will further embed the wellbeing benefits with some relaxing and rejuvenating yoga and mindful movement. Cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance while calming the mind, embracing the present moment. Nigel will run this retreat in conjunction with one of his locally based yoga associates.
The Joy of Singing
I combine Breathing Training and / or Breathwork and /or Forest Bathing with Singing Activities. Experience the uplifting power of group singing in this fun and stress-relieving session. Singing not only complements better breathing but also:
Enhances mood and confidence through the release of endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin.
Builds connection and a sense of belonging through oxytocin release.
Improves posture and reduces muscle tension.
Lowers stress by reducing cortisol and activating the vagus nerve.
Strengthens the immune system and promotes better respiratory health.
Offers an expressive and creative escape from daily worries.
NB. No musical experience is required, we’ll sing easy melodies and harmonies, all learned by ear in a supportive group environment (no solo performances or sheet music needed).

Emotional Healing and Growth: Horses are intuitive and sensitive animals that can mirror our emotions and help us understand our inner selves. Through therapeutic interactions with horses participants can gain insights into their emotions, improve self-awareness, and develop emotional resilience.
Build Trust and Confidence: Working with horses requires presence and authenticity, fostering trust and confidence. Experience the unique bond that forms between humans and horses in a safe, supportive environment. The connection with horses can be supplemented with Connecting with Nature via Forest Bathing or by Connecting with the Breath activities.
The Equine Therapy session is led by Becci Godfrey a Equine Guided Learning Practitioner, Reiki Master and Mind Detox coach.
